This notice covers the Playground website and its waitlist, product-request and tester-application forms. Any paid test has its own agreement about how information is used.
What you share with us
The waitlist asks you to share your LinkedIn or another social profile, or choose a phone number or email instead. Only the chosen contact method is required. Your name and product link are optional. The tester application uses the same contact choices and asks for your name and role, with optional company, LinkedIn or social profile, testing interests, and a résumé/CV in PDF or DOCX format up to 2 MB. The product-request form asks for your name, email, product link, who it is for, and what you want to find out, with optional phone and social details.
Waitlist and product-request submissions ask for agreement to early-access and launch updates. Tester applications ask for agreement to contact about paid testing opportunities. We follow up through the method you choose; a tester application does not also sign you up for launch updates.
Where your details go
When you submit a form, we use Google’s Gmail service to email your details to the Playground team. An attached résumé is sent as a file attachment to the same team inbox. Your profile can be supplied as background even when you choose phone or email for follow-up. These emails and attachments are our record of your entry. This website does not keep a separate list in a database or send you an automatic message.
We use your details to review your request, reply to you, match tester experience to relevant opportunities, and send the updates you agreed to receive. Email records stay in our mailbox until we remove them. To ask us to stop updates or remove an entry, reply through the channel we used to contact you.
Saving a copy
“Save a copy of your request” downloads a text file to your device. It does not send the request to us or add you to the waitlist. Leaving the page before sending also does not submit the form.
The examples on this site
People, quotes and outcomes marked as examples are made up to explain the testing process. They are not real customer records.
When you visit the website
The website can record button clicks inside your browser. It does not send those clicks to another company, and your form details are never included in those records. The company hosting this website may process connection details to load pages and prevent misuse. This includes your IP address, which identifies your internet connection.
Keep private information out of the forms
Please do not send passwords, payment details, or private information about other people. We agree what access is needed before a product test starts.
